Conception of training modules on epidemic control stratégies for Master courses on humanitarian WaSH in Madhaba, Jordan, Bioforce, January 2020
Bioforce has been mandated to design courses for a Master degree on humanitarian Water Hygiene and Sanitation in Amman. The main stakeholders are UNICEF, the German Jordanian University and Action Against Hunger.
We were in charge of two sessions in the module “Public Health and Wash” for a total of 40 hours of lecture including practical cases. The content of the course included basic definition of epidemiology, the standard response strategies of epidemic control and the rationale behind, the relation with health sector and typical Wash barrier activities.
