Design of COVID centre for humanitarian personnel in Aden, Yemen. IOM, Philanthropy Advisors

Design of a medical facility dedicated to COVID case management for humanitarian personnel in Aden, Yemen. International Organisation for Migration, Philanthropy Advisors, May-September 2020

From May 2020, Interacta worked, as a subcontractor of Philanthropy Advisors, on the study of a Covid-19 treatment center in Aden, Yemen. The center, mainly dedicated to aid workers, can be transformed into a trauma center when the epidemic ends. The constructive system must allow rapid deployment while guaranteeing strict compliance with infection prevention and control measures. Interacta participated in the definition of the technical solution and drew up the documents necessary to launch a tender procedure aimed at identifying the operator of the structure. The call for tenders covered, on the one hand, the construction and equipment of the center, and, on the other hand, its operation for a period of one year, including medical and non-medical personnel, drugs and medical equipment, medical and non-medical consumables. Interacta provided support in all stages of the project and the tender procedure.
